Now the cons. Too much damn bloatware. I stripped that puppy real quick. I did keep a couple things though.

Update. After I got home I was looking through everything to find an installation CD. None. The only CD you get is one with drivers. No OS. I highly suggest you make a Backup and Restore CD. I hooked a hard drive up and created a backup image and then made a Restore CD. The laptop comes with a program installed that will re-install some programs, and there is a backup on the partition, but hard drives do fail. I had to choose between this Asus and the Asus G73SW-XA1 but i decided on this one, because i really do not need the additional gaming power and did not want to have 2 big coolers at the back, i dont use it for games.

I really like this laptop.

Computer is as described; the system itself with necessary peripherals - AC adaptor and wall plug, utility CD (not the recovery disc, you have to burn those yourself = about 2 hours with 5 or 6 DVDs). DOes not come with carrying bag or mouse.

So far, no other problems. Web cam is somewhat choppy (very low FPS) and does not have very good quality (claims to be 2.0 MPix), but otherwise everything else is great. It loads quicker than I have ever experienced and works flawlesly. I am very impressed so far so this review is just a few days right out of the box.
