ASUS A52F-XE6 15.6-Inch Versatile Entertainment Laptop (Black).Pros: Fast Intel i5 Processor, 4gb DDR3 Ram which you can expand to 8, 500gb hard drive, camera, Facial Recognition Log in, big keyboard, Win 7 64bit, Much more.

Now the cons. Too much damn bloatware. I stripped that puppy real quick. I did keep a couple things though.

Overall you have a Porsche but you are paying for a Ford. Beautiful Laptop

Update. After I got home I was looking through everything to find an installation CD. None. The only CD you get is one with drivers. No OS. I highly suggest you make a Backup and Restore CD. I hooked a hard drive up and created a backup image and then made a Restore CD. The laptop comes with a program installed that will re-install some programs, and there is a backup on the partition, but hard drives do fail. I am still very impressed with this laptop, and my friends cant believe the price I paid and how beautiful it is!

ASUS UL20FT-XA1 Thin and Light 12-Inch Laptop (Silver). The 2GB-Ram UL20FT XA1 does need upgrade in memory, and this can be done easily for another $50+ since the 2G standard is not suitable to run today's Win 7. The upgraded Ram will help boot-up & your everyday browsing. The LCD is good but not comparable to that of them Sony Z, VPC or TZ series that come with a vivid screen quality stellar on today market. the Asus is remarkably a good build w/ a so-so touch pad (i.e. somewhat gawdy when I think of it), and a thin look (although I wish the 16:9 screen/border ensemble is less vertically elongated), a nice silvery top cover and blk glossy LCD bezel. Ports availability is average: one HDMI, not thrill here. Sound/Keyboard would be considered on par with the other Asus or Acer counterparts. there is no major complaint when it comes to performance since the RAM upgrade (2GB + 4GB PC8500) especially when the laptop is not used for gaming. Too many bloatwares to clean up: Here I have to take one star off bc of the time I spent in removing and making sure that I do it right.

ASUS U36JC-B1 Thin and Light 13.3-Inch Laptop (Black). This laptop is amazingly light and thin. Weighing in at 3.74lbs it hides a hidden beast inside known as an i5 480M processor. Super nice finish except the glossy screen and glossy surrounding around the screen. The unit comes with a single 4GB stick of samsung ram @ 1066Mhz. I bought 2x4GB sticks of GSkill 1333Mhz ram from newegg because i thought the unit comes with 2x2GB sticks. Due to some odd limitation on the i5 processors the ram only shows up as 1066Mhz but i expected as much. Along with switching out the ram i also added in a OCZ Vertex 2 120GB. Taking apart the case is alot easier than it seems as long as you know what to do. The right and left click buttons on the mouse pad are connected together in a chromed plastic click which attracts finger prints like no other. The magnesium alloy finish is beautifully done. No backlit key board which is blah. The speakers are inside or near the mouse pad which is weird. The LED back lit screen can be amazingly bright when set on full brightness. Gaming is possible on low settings but if you are going to buy this you arent really looking for a gaming laptop so dont complain about the graphics.

ASUS G73SW-3DE Republic of Gamers 17.3-Inch 3D Gaming Laptop (Black).I have had this computer for about a week. I am verrrrrryyyyy happy with it. The build, quality, construction is the best I have seen in a laptop. The keyboard works great and the keys are spaced nicely for typing. All that student stuff aside, this thing rocks! The games are all set at ultra settings and the 3D looks amazing. The only issue I see is the water surface does not disply in 3D so it gives you double vision (left eye of under water and right eye the surface of the water). The images come across sharp and clear and the colors are very well displayed. I don't think you can go wrong with purchasing an Asus product. I have owned HP,(sent it back 4 times for repair)Gateway(sent it back for repair, after the warrenty ran out the mother board short out)Toshiba(lasted about 4 yrs and the video card gave out). I went with Asus this time becasue I bought my wife one and she has had zero problems for the last five years. It is still going strong. Asus builds a very nice product. I give this five stars because it deserves it. Great job Asus Thanks.

ASUS G73SW-XA1 Republic of Gamers 17.3-Inch Gaming Laptop (Black).Ordered on Friday, one-day shipping got it to me on Monday the following week.

Computer is as described; the system itself with necessary peripherals - AC adaptor and wall plug, utility CD (not the recovery disc, you have to burn those yourself = about 2 hours with 5 or 6 DVDs). DOes not come with carrying bag or mouse.

So far, no other problems. Web cam is somewhat choppy (very low FPS) and does not have very good quality (claims to be 2.0 MPix), but otherwise everything else is great. Bear in mind that this is a gaming laptop, so it is BIG (17" screen) and heavier than most other laptops!

ASUS N53SV-XV1 15.6-Inch Versatile Entertainment Laptop (Silver Aluminum).I've used Asus products for years but this is the first laptop of theirs that I've owned, and I'm very impressed. Feels solid and runs great. Try pricing out a comparable computer and you'll spend at least 1500. One thing I will point out is even though the website description says this has an eSATA port, it doesn't. This thing is fast, especially once you remove some of Asus' pre-installed software. My old Core2Duo ran so much hotter than this quad-core. Running flash and hd video is like nothing to this computer. Haven't tried any games yet but I've heard reports that it can do pretty well with most games on medium settings.Trust me, you'll have a hard time finding something comparable for the price!

ASUS A52F-XE5 15.6-Inch Versatile Entertainment Laptop (Black).I had never heard of this brand but it was recommended to me by my daughter who is a support tech for a major insurance company. I guess they make most of the motherboards for other computers.
I have to state right off the bat that I use my laptop for pretty simple tasks so I don't think this would be what a hardcore game player would used.I really apprecite that it didn't come pre-loaded with a lot of crap, just the basics. It loads quicker than I have ever experienced and works flawlesly. I am very impressed so far so this review is just a few days right out of the box. I paid a little more at Best Buy because I wanted to try before I bought and decided just to spend a few extra bucks to get it on Saturday... guess I haven't got over my instant gradification problem.

ASUS N53SV-XE1 15.6-Inch Versatile Entertainment Laptop (Silver Aluminum).Got this laptop a week ago. I kept it running and it is not even warm!! (I just do some daily use, I do not play much game but I am always running more than 4 applications) The CPU usage never goes above 30%! The metal-made lip is also good-looking. I don't care the size of the hard drive but I do value the 7200rpm speed, in sense that many competitors are offering 5400rpm. (SSDs' speed is much higher but so is the price.)
